Sudden Cardiac Death
The goal of this program is to use a patient-led, iterative, mixed method design process to develop, validate and implement a range of complementary patient-centred information and communication technologies (ICT) to engage users to as to increase appropriate testing, management and intervention to reduce Sudden Cardiac Death following myocardial infarction. Ultimately we aim to create a “virtual health care provider,” specializing in sudden death prevention and complementary to current cardiac rehabilitation programmes, capable of empowering patients and improving access to guideline-directed cardiac care throughout Canada.
